The Town Council puts on a festive display of Christmas lights in the town every year, with a change of illuminations every five years.
In 2018 the East Grinstead Town Council’s Christmas Lights ‘Switch On’ was in conjunction with the High Street Trader’s ‘Big Reveal’.
The lights are officially switched on by the Town Mayor in the High Street.
In 2013, the Council made the switch to LED lights, reducing the Carbon footprint of the celebratory lights.
